Eat Your Crayons

This little project looks good enough to eat! You'll be surprised to find that you can whip up these home made edible crayons with just a few simple ingredients. Plus, we've included a FREE printable for your crayon wrappers.

Materials Needed:
Candy Making Chocolate-Various Colors
Large Pretzel Sticks (we used Rold Gold Braided Twists)
Colored Paper
Parchment Paper

Instructions:
1. Melt the colored chocolate in a microwave safe bowl, stirring every 15-30 seconds until smooth.

2. Dip each end of the pretzel into one color.
3. Repeat for each color until you have the desired amount of "crayons".

 4. Set on parchment or wax paper and allow them to completely dry.
 5. While they're drawing...I mean drying, print out the wrappers on corresponding colored paper using the template below. Your kids can also color their own labels or write their own descriptions on colored paper.
6. Cut paper into squares and once the chocolate is dry, wrap paper around the pretzel. Tape closed.
